Next on our immediate agenda is a show here at the studio featuring “The Wild Horses of Sable Island”  

I have been working hard to get 20 new paintings ready . . . not to mention having to clean up the studio (always a chore).  This will be the first show at the studio in several years and I have to admit, that I am really looking forward to it!  The Musical Ride Series (www.canadarides.ca) has kept me very pre-occupied for the last 3 years and although we are still busy with exhibitions for that series, I am now free to create other works.

The Sable Island Series has been a long anticipate labour of love!  I traveled there in the summer of 2009 and am just now able to work on the paintings.  My trip to Sable Island truly was a trip of a lifetime!  It must be one of the most special and unique places in Canada and I know that I am among the “fortunate few” to have been able to go there.  I hope that the paintings will convey my fascination and love for this place.
